HopRoutine is a mobile application designed to help children follow their routines (morning, evening, etc.). This policy explains how the app handles your data.
TL;DR
Children's first names and routines stay on your phone and are never sent to our servers. We only collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the app, and a provider validates purchases. No mandatory account, no ads, no advertising identifier.
Data stored locally
The following may be stored locally on your device:
- Children's first names
- Customized avatars (colors, features, accessories)
- Routine steps and durations
- Local statistics (completed routines, best/average times)
- Preferences (voice on/off, sounds on/off)
- A small local technical event log for debugging
In-app purchases (RevenueCat)
Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat (United States) to validate purchases: it receives an anonymous identifier and your purchase history (plan, dates, status), but no first names or routine content. We never receive your payment details.
Anonymous usage statistics (PostHog)
We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to measure app usage. Events are anonymous and contain no first names, no routine content and no advertising identifier.
Website (hoproutine.app)
The site is hosted on Vercel and uses Vercel Analytics, which is cookie-free and aggregated. If you voluntarily enter your email to get the printable routine template, it is stored with Resend based on your consent, to send you tips and news; you can unsubscribe in one click from any email or by contacting us.
